AT&T U-verse U-talk Forum - Usage GuidelinesAT&T provides these forums as a service to its users and customers, to help them exchange ideas, tips, information, and techniques related to our wireless services. The AT&T U-verse U-talk Forum is here for the enjoyment and benefit of all members and are accessible to all who register and are 18 years of age or older. Like any community, the U-talk Forum is most valuable when everyone obeys certain basic guidelines and rules for online behavior. These guidelines and rules are presented here so that you know what is expected of you and what you can expect from other participants when using the U-talk Forum. By registering and using the U-talk Forum you agree to follow the AT&T U-verse U-talk Terms of Use and these Usage Guidelines. In case of discrepancy between this document and the AT&T U-verse U-talk Terms of Use, the AT&T U-verse U-talk Terms of Use will prevail. - We are here to help - If you are new to the U-talk Forum and are unsure about anything, just post on the boards! The moderators and other participants are always happy to help. AT&T moderators are identified by a AT&T globe icon. - Keep it relevant - For everyone's benefit please stay on topic. The U-talk Forum is specifically provided to allow users and customers of AT&T to help each other in using U-verse products and services from AT&T. Please refrain from discussing personal matters, unrelated companies or products, or, in general, from posting in a manner unrelated to the resolution of issues regarding U-verse products and services from AT&T. - Keep it courteous - Everyone wants to have a positive experience while on the U-talk Forum - please make sure that you are not detracting from any other user's experience. In particular, please refrain from posting anything unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable or injurious to third parties. Your opinions are always welcome, but personal attacks and harassment ("flaming") in the Forum or through private messaging is not acceptable, nor is any use that is not in strict compliance with the AT&T U-verse U-talk Terms of Use. - Keep it spam-free - This community is provided as a service to AT&T customers and is not intended for the promotion of third party services, products, websites, or organizations. Please refrain from posting content that would constitute advertising, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation. - Keep it legal - It is unacceptable to post any material (i) that would infringe on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party, (ii) that contains software viruses or any other computer code or files that are designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software or hardware, (iii) that is deemed to be illegal by any local, state, federal, or international law, rule or regulation, or (iv) that is not in strict compliance with the AT&T U-verse U-talk Terms of Use. - Be careful - Most people are happy to help out on these Forums, but remember that their advice is theirs only and that you are responsible for deciding whether or not to follow it. If the advice given by a user sounds wrong to you, do not try it. You should not post personal information on these Forums including your name and address, age, or phone number. Furthermore, if any user asks you for personal information, such as an account number, address, password, or credit card number, do not provide it. - Community Leaders - From time-to-time AT&T may designate certain members as a community leader, or other valued member of the AT&T U-verse U-talk Forum community ("Community Leader"). This content is the sole responsibility of the Community Leader or other valued member, and all the provisions of these Forum Usage Guidelines apply to the content posted by these members. - AT&T retains the right to remove content and limit users' access - AT&T does not generally edit or monitor content posted by participants in the U-talk Forum. However, AT&T retains the right, at its sole discretion, to limit users' access to the U-talk Forum and to remove material that, in AT&T's sole judgment, does not comply with the current Usage Guidelines, that is otherwise inappropriate for the U-talk Forum, harmful, objectionable, or inaccurate, or that is not in compliance with the AT&T U-verse U-talk Terms of Use. AT&T also retains the right to assign such right to some members of the U-talk Forums community. AT&T is not responsible for any failure or delay in removing such material. Moderators may take any action they deem necessary in their own judgment to support the Usage Guidelines, the AT&T U-verse U-talk Terms of Use, and, in general, that can detract from the experience of other users or the purpose of the support community.
