I have a question about the phone adapter for Uverse voice.  From what I've read with Vonage you can take the phone adapter with you when you travel and if you have high speed internet where you're going all you  have to do is plug in the phone adapter and your phone and if someone calls you your phone will work just like at home.  Does the phone adapter on Uverse work the same way or does it have to plugged into the gateway?
