Just got a postcard today that beginning March 5th, Palladia HD (1502) will be moving to the HD Premium Tier.  Saw an earlier post that it was part of DirecTV's premium tier so I guess it was just a matter of time before AT&T moved it to their premium tier as well.

Why wouldn't they have moved it with the other channels?  Now they made me mad twice when it could have just been once.

Maybe the fact they made the big deal for the other Viacom HD channels recently, they're screwing us by putting them in the HD premium tier and pulling Palladia and putting it w/other Viacom HDs there also.  They might be finally be making the HD premium tier finally worth $5/mo extra. :smileywink:

If they follow DirecTV's lead eventually they'll move HDNet Movies to the premium tier and then they will have made you mad three times :smileyvery-happy:

What probably will happen is the channels that don't have SD channels will probably be move to the premium tier eventually in my opinion. Palladia HD does not have a SD channel.

I do not think they will move MTV=RTV, VH1, Fuse, etc.. to the Premium Tier.

I hope they improve the HD quality on that channel then since it is not very good.

As the lead over Time Warner grows ever smaller...

You gotta love the business model:

1) Annoy your customers with nickel and dime increases like the STB's.

2) Annoy your customers with additional fees for stuff you used to offer for free

3) Annoy your customers with technical support that makes the IRS look good by comparison

4) Annoy your customers by not adding local digital channels.

5) Annoy your customers by not adding high profile national channels like MLB

If I was Time Warner, I'd send a promotion letter to every former customer along the lines of "Had enough?".
