I have the Sirius/XM service and they have 6 commercial channels starting next week that plays nothing but Christmas music......lovely....

Oh man. From the day after Thanksgiving until sometime after Christmas day, everywhere you turn, be it the background music in the store, the commercials on TV, or the advertisements on the radio, there's holiday music. Towards the end of that period, it's just about all I can take. There's been several December 26th's that I feel like taking an Uzi to the next set of speakers I hear that's playing "Jingle Bells".   
In all honesty, I'm really surprised that more over the air radio stations haven't "fliiped" to the Christmas format, already. Over the past few years some had started in September! The first that I heard of this year, was in Cincinatti. They flipped like Oct 29. Some stations actually improve their ratings over the "junk" they were playing before. Walmart was playing some "Merry Christmas" jingle throughout the store, last week.

100.3 (WINC) unfourntly went to all CHRISTMAS MUSIC starting today here in the Detroit music. Yuck. Message Edited by sportsman on 11-07-2009 01:06 AM

For those that want to hear Christmas music now you can hang around Walmart or some of the other stores. If this music starts before Thanksgiving on U-verse I wish the audio drops were longer.

i read someplace that its suppose to be on 5147 but the jackson memorial music is on i think holiday music is more important time to let the jackson music go i did a search till this coming friday no holiday music scheduled hmmmm arg stupid uverse they should have holiday music and a fire vid going like comcast so many reasons to return to comcast now audio drops hdmi problems no favorite button
