I am not happy. U-Verse has been an absolute nightmare. It's been a week of hell trying to get the freakin' computers and T.V. in my house up and running. For a big tele-COMMUNICATIONS company. ATT sure sucks at communicating. The sales people don't talk to the dispatch people, the dispatch people don't talk to the tech department. What's even worse they send out untrained technicians to set up crappy wireless networks that don't perform as advertised in peoples homes. Once everything is installed and not running, then they try and tell you you don't have a big enough package for your household and they try and sell you a more expensive package. Talk about bait and switch. The final straw was they don't have the SCI-FI channel, which the sales rep assured me they did. Come monday, I'm ripping Uverse out of my house and going back to Time Warner Cable. Then I plan on writing a nice long letter to the FCC. '

its now called syfy. It's on channel 151 or 152 depending on if you live in the east or the west region of the country. Also in HD on 1151 everywhere. edit: oops, others got to it above me while i was typing. Message Edited by redsfan33 on 07-26-2009 08:17 PM

I'm surprised that someone so obviously dedicated to watching the SciFi channel wouldn't know that they'd changed to SyFy a couple weeks ago... it was the same week they premiered Warehouse 13 (almost four weeks ago). (and that doesn't include the weeks of pre-change announcements on-screen aand on their website) Message Edited by ScottMac on 07-26-2009 09:08 PM

Maybe this is another TW employee? Uverse doesn't have the Sci-fi Channel, and neither does Time Warner. They both have Syfy though. TWC is targeting the people that visit this forum and don't know that the channel changed names. Or maybe it was just a person that also got caught up by the digital television transition.
