I have wanted Uverse since the first day I found out about it. Yes, I am an ATT customer for home and cell. I found out that a UVERSE box sits right outside my community. The problem is....my wonderful new community is wired with FiberOptic for all the wonderful new technology to come....BUT, NOT UVERSE!!!!!! Some one please explain. I build a new house, have all the new style wiring (fiberoptic), and the company launches UVERSE to work over old copper wire. I understand that this is the case all over Charlotte, NC. TELL ME WHY!!!!! I WANT UVERSE. Create a splitter to deal with this. FIND A SOLUTION. HEY ATT.....THERE ARE A BUNCH OF US THAT WANT YOUR PRODUCT AND HAVE THIS PROBLEM. PLEASE TELL ME WHO TO TALK TO..... THANKS

Because Bell South built their fiber optics in a ring setup so nobody has a direct connection back to the CO. One connection from the CO feeds up to a couple dozen homes and that just won't work for Uverse even though it's now ATT.  Edit: Normal set-up on fiber works just fine in areas that have it on Uverse. Chris
